The Hilton Liverpool City Center is absolutely the best hotel to stay in Liverpool. It is walking distance to almost everything you’ll be visiting.
If the weather is reasonably fine and you don’t have a lot of luggage, it is just a comfortable 15-minute walk from the train station. You will walk through several vibrant and lively shopping and dining districts. Moreover, you’ll be happy that you bypass the taxi line, which could be very long at times.
Albert Dock is literally across the street from the front door of the hotel. Numerous shopping, dining, and entertainment options are all within walking distance. The vibrant Liverpool One Mall is literally next to the Hotel. Go through the mall and continue walking north for a couple of blocks and you will find the legendary Cavern Club.

The rooms are reasonably nice and large, by Europe’s standard. As a Hilton Honors Gold member, I am getting upgraded to an Executive Room and also given access to the Executive Lounge. The drinks are self-served and there are also plenty of tasty snacks and finger foods.
The Hilton Liverpool City Center offers an amazing breakfast buffet. If you ask me, I’ll tell you that the English breakfast is the best breakfast across all continents, countries, and cultures. If you are in England, you must spoil yourself with a gourmet breakfast buffet!
To make things even better, as a Hilton Honors Gold member, I get to enjoy this wonderful breakfast for free! These are just some of the many perks that gold members receive.
